Hair Growth Treatment
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are popular, non-surgical hair restoration treatments that use components of your own blood to stimulate hair growth.
The growth factors in the platelets are thought to stimulate dormant or weak hair follicles, increase blood supply to the scalp, and promote thicker, healthier hair growth
How PRP/PRF Treatments Work
Blood Draw: A small amount of your blood is drawn, similar to a routine blood test.
Centrifugation: The blood is placed into a centrifuge, which spins it rapidly to separate the components and concentrate the platelets and growth factors into either Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF).
Injection: The concentrated solution is then injected into the scalp in areas of thinning hair.
